The brief
The client needed to make the most of the space they already had — opening up the kitchen, extending into the garden and bringing the whole home up to a standard that would work for family life for years to come. The aim was a beautiful, functional home where everyday living and entertaining flowed naturally together, with the indoors connecting seamlessly to the garden.
What we did
Single-storey extension
A new single-storey addition with wide glazing connects the family space to the garden.
Bespoke kitchen
A bespoke kitchen forms the heart of the new open-plan space. Fitted with Howdens kitchens, the cabinetry and layout were designed around how the family cooks and entertains.
Patio and garden
A generous patio steps straight out from the new glazing onto a finished garden.
The result
The completed home opens onto a generous patio and garden, with wide glazing connecting the bespoke kitchen and family space to the outdoors. Careful lighting and a clean exterior finish make the addition feel settled rather than added on.
