Meet Rhys Child
Rhys is a carpenter by trade, and his feel for craftsmanship started young — his father is a carpenter too, so growing up around timber, tools and building sites gave him an instinct for quality work that has never left him. From his first projects he built a reputation for joinery and finishes that look right and last, and that attention to detail still runs through every job the company takes on today.
Rhys founded Rhys Child Construction in 2016, bringing together a small, skilled team who share his standards. Starting with extensions and garden buildings, the business has grown steadily through word of mouth and recommendation — built on the simple principle that good work, honest communication and a tidy site speak for themselves. Whether it is a whole-home renovation, a loft conversion or a bespoke garden office, Rhys and the team bring the same care from the first sketch to the final clean-down.
